Collecting memories

I love it when our home (boat) slowly gets filled with personally handpicked treasures from all of our travels and we can make use of them at various occasions while getting reminded of the beauty of other times, other places that we've shared during this journey. Like this exquisite tea pot in silver and the perfectly accompanying Arabic tea glasses with golden scripture that we purchased on the winding streets in the bustling city of Rabat, Morocco. Those were the times, so different life than what we experience here, one ocean apart. Both has their charm and fascinating atmosphere of course, just that they're very unequal to each other. I think it is beautiful to gather details around you that has soul and a history and this little pot and these glasses will always be here to remind us of those past moments of our lives.

Read here to see how beautiful first night we had in Morocco, almost one year ago. And here's even more from the same colorful country. Do not forget to check out all the amazing amazing food that we devoured in over there. Besides of the famous Moroccan mint tea, we also bought and collected tons of West African spices which I use quite often in my concoctions of today. That's just another great way to store memories of taste, pleasure and enjoyment for days to come..
