In Sag Harbor, New York, designer Michael Lee and friends Alex and Sue Glasscock converted an 1865 Second Empire?style town house from a triplex back to a single-family residence. The Glasscocks — he owns a private equity firm; she is an organic farmer — have been renovating houses with Lee for 14 years. What a handsome pair of horseshoe armchair. Meant for the export market and maybe that's why the height and size is slightly larger than the normal Chinese Horseshoe armchair.
Each with rounded back inset with open fretwork panels centered by the "wan" symbol; raised on straight legs joined by stretchers.
